Ditchling MORRIS 2008

KEEPING THE TRADITION ALIVE

FREE TO TRY!

Ever thought about Morris dancing and asked what’s it like?  Then come along to one of our practice evenings.  These are held every Thursday [7.30 to9.30 pm] at the Scout Hut in East End Lane.  Or, if the weather’s nice over the summer months, on the village green

What you can expect
The first part of our practice night is devoted to beginners, so that’s the best time to come.  It is recommended that you wear something loose and comfortable and we would expect you to be reasonably agile. Morris Dancing is energetic and requires a moderate degree of fitness.

If you enjoy the challenge of learning something new, keeping the tradition alive and having fun along the way, then continue to be a beginner until you feel ready to dance out.

After practice, we retire to the White Horse for some much needed refreshment.
